I tried several different ways to get this in to comments reg. "The Veteran who died replacing Flag on Memorial Day" and couldn't get thru.
So here goes.....

I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to his family and to his friends. This man must have served his country bravely to be so proud that he simply couldn't display a "tattered or torn" Flag. I served also. All gave some , some gave all. And that is what Memorial Day is about...those who gave all.
Some people do not know that we remember those who "Died in the line of Duty" serving their country, The United States Of America. On this day a man "did what he felt was right" even at the expence of his own life to "God and Country". No greater love has a man than to lay down his life for his life for his country. I've heard that before. And this man bears witness to just that phrase. Though he was not on active duty at the time, let us not forget he had the courage and self sacrifice to try.
God Bless Him And Keep Him By His Side! This man was indeed a true American!
